Hi! My name is Tiffany Rainey, and I adore children! My specialty is infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and I am currently working with a lovely family with 2 beautiful young boys (infant and preschooler)!

So, a bit about me...
I am 22, and I am a mom to a beautiful 3 year old. My fiance and I raise our daughter to be educated, well-rounded, and well-rounded, and we have a strong sense of family. I am a college student pursuing my degree in K-8 Interdisciplinary Studies (college advisor speak for Elementary Education). When I'm finished (estimated in 2012), I plan to go on to achieve my Master's in Education or Education Administration.
I live in a beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with over 1250 square feet and a huge patio where Lily and I explore the woods and birds behind our home! Our building is right across the street from the playground, and we are only a short walk from the pool in the front of the community! In our building, we also have a dear police officer who is a great neighbor!
In my spare time, I am also a candler, and I run a very small business doing this. I take pride in my work. However, family is most important to me! I cherish the time with my family and those spent working with other families!
In the future, I'm hoping to have a long term relationship with a family and finish the final year of my degree.

My philosophies about children are fairly simple. I love kinesthetic learning- learning based on hands-on stimulation, so I try to focus on making each and every activity very involving and fun! I also have experience shifting an activity to suit both younger and older children, and I thoroughly enjoy being able to do that with mixed age siblings! It's a lot of fun seeing how each child approaches an activity! I am very passionate and hope to pass this along to children. I also love to read, and I think it is one of the most important activities to do! I read to the children in my care each and every day, multiple times a day, and I can recite "Goodnight Moon" like nobody's business! :P
